Co-branding

Introduction

Opera is often branded together with one of our partners on all kinds of communication: social media, print, packaging, etc. As with the rest of the identity channels, it's important that the brand is handled properly in these channels, as well. Please use the horizontal and vertical layouts below, and read the following guidelines before use.

For best possible contrast, use the positive version with a black line on white and bright backgrounds. On darker backgrounds, use the negative version, with a white line.

Guidelines for use – Do's

Do's 1

When branding Opera together with a partner, please make sure logo and text is legible and clear. Place information on either parts of image with high enough contrast to the logo or in a big-enough neutral box with high contrast.

Guidelines for use – Dont's

Contrast

Please follow instructions regarding contrast above. Communication with low contrast results in unclear and unsuccessful branding.

Hit Esc to close.

Co-branding design

Please use the downloadable co-branding design provided at the top of this page. This design has been made to brand both Opera and our partner in the correct manner. Splitting up this design and placing the Opera and partner logos separately should be avoided.

Hit Esc to close.

Custom shapes

Never put the logos in a custom shape. If you can't put them directly on a background, use a square box, preferably at the bottom of your design.

Don't use the app icon as a branding logo. The app icon may be used to market the product, but, then, the co-branding logo layout needs to be present elsewhere on the material.

Hit Esc to close.

The Opera logo

Never use the Opera logo as a graphic element in the design. That means never using the logo as an "O" in text or as a circle (car wheel, sun, bubbles, etc.). The logo should always be used as the downloadable layout in that specific size in relation to the partner logo, with logotype, in the correct color.
